EXPLORER.EXE CRASHING FREQUENTLY AFTER INSTALLING THE WINDOWS 10 APRIL 2018 UPDATE (REDSTONE 4)
As reported by some users explorer.exe is crashing after installing the Windows 10 April 2018 update. On 30 April 2018 Microsoft released a major update for all windows 10 users i.e. April 2018 update (Redstone 4) and allowed to install to all those users who want to install it manually. The final release of this update has been scheduled on 8 May 2018. Post installation of April 2018 update user started to facing issue’s with some applications like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox…etc…

Now recently in one of the conversation of Reddit, Users discussed that the explorer.exe is frequently crashing. Refer the reddit conversation. Not all users are facing the same issue. Different users are facing different issue’s like some users thinking that explorer is responding very slow and some time system is working slow. Some users complained that after installing the update the system neither shutting down not restarting. by clicking Power and Restart button the explorer.exe is restarting not the system.
Some users also mentioned that After installing the April 2018 update till now they haven’t received a single bug from it. Yet it is not concluded that the issue is happening due to the latest April 2018 update but hopefully Microsoft would consider all these issues happening due to this update and will provide necessary solutions according to that.
Some experts also tried to solve these issues by giving some solutions like reinstall your Graphic driver from your device Manager, Try to open the Windows Explorer by pressing Windows Key + E button on your keyboard…etc but somehow the problem is not resolved.
As i said above tomorrow is the Final release date of April 2018 update and It will roll out all over the world. Hopefully this final update will fix all bugs.
